Kowdiar Palace - Trivandrum
The palace is the home to the descendants of Maharaja of Travancore and the royal family. Kowdiar palace is an excellent example of the rich cultural heritage of the imperial ancestors. The palace is a wonder by itself imposing incredible architectural style that blends the Anglo-Saxon and Travancore styles in the most strategic and attractive way. Though public access to the palace is limited, they can however, enter into Panchavadi which is built as the resting place for the late His Highness Maharaja Chitira thirunal.
