Overview
Sharing borders with Tamil Nadu in the East and the Sea of Arabia at the West, Trivandrum lays on the southernmost tip of India. Named after the Lord Vishnu, the city is a home to numerous ancient temples. The main landmark of this place is the Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple and the city has been constructed around the temple on 7 small hillocks surrounding the temple. The adjacent and mighty Western Ghats make the place an incredible picnic spot as well.
